My school has a day where they make all students (upper, middle, preschool, lower) write letters to people who have donated to the school. Each student HAS to write at least 5 letters to different people, and each letter had to say something along the lines of this:
“Thank you for being a donor. I am enjoying the money that you spend on my school and I’m getting a much better education, please donate more.” -
I mean asking little kids to basically beg for money is just…
Disgusting -
Especially guilt tripping school-donors into giving more
-
That is weird...
-
no, you're definitely right, that's really weird at best
-
A school near where I live is actually doing that too. It's so sad to ask children to do that :P
-
*Weird to the max
-
Honestly fr
It’s so inappropriate to make kindergarteners unknowingly guilt trip people for money -
Yeah like
Who does that??
They are only 4 yr olds- -
Yeah
-
But the fact that they have a whole day about this, like it’s a holiday or something so special. They’re trying to hide the fact that they want money
-
That's kind of weak honestly…
-
Fr fr. I mean like dignity just went down the drain let’s be honest 😩
-
Our school does the same thing, I feel u 😭✨✋

My school has a lot of donors but we’re also part of a tri school group
