Your bain can actually turn your imagination into what you see as reality?
Have you ever been waiting at a stoplight with a car in front of you and you're both in the turn lane? And the blinkers are off beat from each other. Have you ever tried syncing them? Sometimes three or even five at a time?
The thing is that while they appear synced, they aren't. You're imagining them syncing. Your brain is turning your imagination into what you view as reality. -
That's why two eye-witnesses will likely not have the same story. If they miss a little part, their brains fill in what they missed with what they imagine would have happened based on what happened before and after the part they miss. To them, it's the hard, fast, truth, but it honestly might not be.
-
So if I think that one of my friends likes me, that would be the truth if I think enough of it?
-
It would be the truth to you, but it might not be reality. You'd be living in a fantasy world, I guess.
-
Oh, well I already do!
-
Ok
-
Woah, so even if it's not true, you can still imagine it and it'll transfer to your eyes and you'll kind of see it?
But if you don't look at it it'll go away? -
Not necessarily.
As long as one of your senses still senses what your imagination-reality thing is, it's still there.
Like with the blinker thing, you can see the little arrow on the dash and see the blinker on the car in front of you, but you can also hear your blinker.
Or literally last night I had a thing with two clocks in my house. The one that's in the kitchen has the second hand that clicks as it goes around the clock, the other one that's in the living room has a pendulum that hits the side of the little box the pendulum is in.
The pendulum hitting the wood and the second hand in the other one was completely unsynced.
I was able to sync the sounds they make every second without looking at the clocks.
Then I looked at the pendulum one while still listening to the ticking of the other clock, and they were still synced. -
Yeah, it's confusing

Oh my gosh-
That is really interesting :0
