The darkness makes itself known in a bold attempt to be seen by those who would rather ignore it
When it’s job is done, the moon takes on a red glow

Darkness doesn’t usually want to be seen
But when it is flat out ignored, it grows resentful
It appreciates the acquaintance being there
Treating it like an equal, a being in itself, rather than just another thing
Showing it respect
It doesn’t get it often
But when it does, it’ll usually show the same respect to you that you show it -
