Thread Topic: A typical Sunday at work.

My shift starts at 2, ends at 9, and all this usually happens at around 4 o'ckock, maybe later if we're busy like today. And it's just me and my boss until 5:30 when someone else's shift starts.
Boss: Go take a break.
Me: Ok *goes sit down on chair in the back.*
Boss: Do you want anything to eat?
Me: Sure.
*He brings me food and I quickly eat it*
Me: *gets up to get a drink* *tries to start doing something.
Boss: No, Tatyana, just sit for a few minutes.
(Ten minutes later)
Me: *gets up to go do something*
Boss: No, just chill.
Me: But I'm bored.
Boss: Don't you have any games on your phone you can play?
Me: Yeah.
Boss: Go play on your phone.
Me: Fine.
Me: *uses all my energies on my game* *gets up to do some things that need to get done.*
Boss: Tatyana —
~ding dong~
*Finish serving the people*
Me: *Starts doing things I need to do so that we get out on time*
Boss: Tatyana, sit down.
Me: But I need to —
Boss. Tatyana. Sit. Down.
(Sometimes this happens.)
Me: For how long?
Boss: Until _________ gets here.
Me when ________ arrives: Thank goodness you're here, this man is holding me idle against my will.
My boss is chuckling to himself almost the entire time I'm trying to do something. We both find it funny. -

He had to learn that once I get my drink I'm back to work again.
So as soon as I finish my drink he tells me again to go sit down.
