how long should our time capsules be sealed? minimum 1 year. they've been sealed anywhere between 1-2 years in the past, but I'd like to be more consistent
the foreseeable pro of leaving a time capsule sealed for a longer period of time is that it gives you distance and more time to grow and change in between time capsules. more interesting, less like reading your old threads from three weeks ago
the biggest con I can see to leaving the thread sealed for a long time is that some of the people that posted in it might not stick around that long and won't get to see it opened -

I think only having 1 year between capsules is good. As you said, people might leave before it can be opener again. Plus opening it yearly gives new users more of a chance to add something instead of having to wait another year

You could always do a separate longer one for those who don’t plan on going anytime soon but that might not help any idk
