I'm going to update this list to include everyone that added their names to the first thread. I will also be adding this thread to our Useful Threads Directory Thread, pinned at the top of the Lounge.
From here on, the term “adult” shall refer to any person aged 18 or older.
The term “minor” refers to any person below the age of 18.
1. The purpose of this thread is to help all of our minors identify people that ARE NOT available for dating.
The people on this list are legal adults- therefore, it is illegal and extremely predatory for them to engage in romantic or sexual relationships with minors.
2. The age requirement to join the Gotoquiz forums is AT LEAST 13, meaning people of any age 13 and above are expected to be able to interact in a safe manner on these forums.
Protect yourself- if you are a minor and you feel that someone on this list is trying to engage you in a romantic or sexual relationship, tell any of the mods immediately. Child predators WILL NOT be tolerated on the forums.
Be considerate of our adult users. It's not flattering or cute to be hit on by a literal child. It's incredibly uncomfortable.
Protect our kids. As adults, everyone on this list should have the sense to avoid questionable relationships with minors. Our responsibility goes beyond not doing it ourselves, though. Remember that children in these kinds of unhealthy relationships do not have the emotional maturity to recognize that they are not compatible or on even footing with their abuser. It’s up to all of us to recognize and report predatory behavior from our peers.
3. If you are a safe person for another user to privately contact in order to make an anonymous report regarding concerning behavior involving children, please post here ONCE with the best contact information for them to use. You can list as many means of contact as you regularly check. If you are not willing to work with us, no contact information is necessary.
The following is a list of all the users that have been active within the past several months who are 18+. Please add your name if I missed you or if you've turned 18.
a.) no minors shall post in this thread whatsoever, for any reason
b.) no conversational, duplicate, or off topic posts in this thread- violators will be deleted or marked offensive at the discretion of the mods
c.) if it comes to our attention that someone has lied about their age, whether to say they are 18 or older in order to date an adult, or to say they are younger than 18 in order to date a minor, they will be banned from the forums with no possibility of appeal. this punishment is non-negotiable.
