Thread Topic: So my school is doing a Breast Cancer Awareness thing

As a lot of you may know, my mom is recovering from breast cancer (she was declared cancer-free a few weeks ago, but after radiation, they're going to double-check. Then she has two more surgeries), and so I'm going as far out as my wardrobe will allow me, considering I don't wear much pink.
I'm wearing a frilly pink shirt
Pink socks
Pink scarf
Pink hair accessories
And then lastly I'm wearing the jacket my mom wore on her last day of chemo. It's a white one and my mom sewed breast cancer ribbon patches on the back to make a heart. She also had a bunch of people who supported her and people who have really impacted her life sign the back of it.

that sounds great and its really sweet how you're supporting both your mom and other people that struggle with cancer. also congrats to her
