I think no one actually did. GTQ GUY came up with the idea.

Actually it has been requested a lot in the past from what I know. I personally believe he had been working on that part of the update for some time before

I was going to get help and found his thread asking if there was a way to search users, and bread answered his question in the thread
accordingly, identical to the search option we have now
But GTQ Guy might be the one who added it.
he was the one who made this website and controls it around with help of mods.
but I don't know how he did that since that's a hard thing to do and it's a lot of code and he only comes on once in a while. -
