I finished my cigarette and threw it on the ground. I came back to Dana, careful to keep a distance from her.

My dreams were full of great big monsters chasing me.

"Why Dana? A poor little innocent girl!" I mumbled. "Why couldn't it have been me? Atleast then Addy could take care of her." I sighed.

I started to gently shake her from her sleep.
"Dana" I whispered -
I blinked opened my eyes, and looked up at Addy. It was nice to see a friendly face after a nightmare.

I decided I had been a jerk, And started walking back. When I got there, I just stood over to the side, Like a black bear in a polar bears' cage.

"Dana, have I ever told you the story of how I ended up with Marshall?"

"Dana, have I ever told you the story of how I ended up with Marshall?" I asked

"Yeah, Have you?" I asked.

I shook my head, sensing a story come on.

"Well, I was born in a normal family with two sisters and a brother. I was the second youngest. My mom was a elementary school teacher, and my dad was a scientist. We had everything we needed. Love, comfort, I had the best parents ever." Tears started to bite at my eyes

I listened, I knew the story, And it had a tragic ending, But some reason, I loved listening to it.

I listened, eyes wide.

"However, when I was four, it all went downhill. Nobody knows how or who was patient zero, but an epidemic started taking the lives of people all around the world. It was worse than the Black Death. My family tried to hide from those who were infected, but they got sick too, and died a little while later. The disease was called Lurchgore."

I stared into the eyes of Dana, Hopefully Addy didn't kill her with fear.
