I layed a kiss on her forehead. "It's okay. It won't happen, Not while I'm alive. Never." I looked into her worried eyes. I heard the angry voices to.

"YOU LITTLE RASCALS! WAKING AN OLD MAN UP A THIS HOUR!" the voice of our neighboor, a veteran of WW2 rung outside

"WE'RE SORRY MR. MATHEWS! JUST A NIGHTMARE!" I screamed out the window.

Another neighboor, who thought the screams of a fire were real, had phoned 911. Boy, were we in for it now.

"Imma get the police on ya crazy kids!"

"No Need, Mr. Matthews, It was accident! I swear! Just my little sister!" I yelled. I looked at Dana. "We have to get outta here. Pack like nutjobs. Ill get some food. WE HAVE TO LEAVE!" I muttered to Dana and Addy.

Nodding shakily, I packed everything I could get.

I nodded, though I didn't really have anything to pack. And that's when the firefighters came.

I grabbed food and we got out of the house just as they walked in. I wiped my brow. My body was tingley. Anxious. I shook my head, Not now!

The windows broke under the pressure of the huge hoses as water poured in through all openings.

I squinted, I thought I would faint under the pressure and fright. "No." I murmered.

"Marshall, come on!" I yelled, pulling on his sleeve

I shook my head. I couldn't think. I don't know why. I just couldn't.
