I’ve talked abt it a lot but I need advice on convincing my parents not to move.
I really don’t know how to tell them, since it’s really hard to actually get them to believe in me -
It’s last-minute, and I didn’t know about until a month or two ago. At my parents’ work they’ve already hired replacements for them, so I’m scared that it’s too late to stop the move.
My brother already got into the school, while my two sisters and I haven’t yet. -
It’s really hard since I know all the reasons why I, individually, don’t want to move - and they still aren’t enough to convince my parents

Have you ever told your parents that they're moving a bit too fast when it comes to moving? Cause I think they've moved you a few times.

They’re gonna be sending me to my old school, which was easy to say an awful place to be at, and they’re making us move back to the city.
And comparing the two places that we live, there’s a big difference in quality and like-ability.
Our old city is old, dangerous, ugly, unwelcoming
Our new community is bright and happy, very green, really safe, newer, and a really pretty and modernish place to live (it’s basically summer all year round) -
Oh for sure I’ve definitely cried a lot over it, sworn at them, and actually tried to reasonably tell them why we shouldn’t move.
They seem like they’re so convinced that the move is gonna make THEM happy, and while they tell me to be open-minded they won’t let me tell them why I GENUINELY don’t think moving is a good decision -
Ngl but your parents sound selfish

And a few of these reason are-
- I’m afraid to become depressed or get a lot of anxiety
- I don’t want to be scared 24/7 of being kidnapped, murdered, or r*ped, I literally cannot go anywhere without being scared of these things, which is really scary to think about for me
- I strongly despise everyone at my old school, the teachers, the students, everything and everyone
- It’s an all-girls-school, which is -obviously- bad bc I actually think it screws up the whole social structure, also the girls there are all extremely babyish -
I'm sorry. If your parents are aware of your feelings and still plan on moving, I don't think there's much left you can do.

Right? They’re so selfish and they aren’t scaring about how it affects me mentally :l
