Like if you had imaginary friends or were scared of something.
-
I never had any imaginary friends
There was a monster but I wasn't afraid of it -
The Thing™ hiding around my room
-
For example:
Wiggles: They were worms that would visit me every night when I was 7. They would wiggle over to me which scared the deal out of me and it would make me lose sleep. They stopped visiting when I was 8.
Bella the Bunny: Bella was an imaginary friend I had that was a rabbit. She started visiting me when I was 8. Bella usually came in the day time and the night and would a no me. She stopped visiting a few months later.
Aria: Aria was an oc I had made that eventually became my everything when I was 9. She would always be there if I needed a shoulder to cry on and would always cheer me up. Aria disappeared when my parents had a big fight. -
So the monster was just a dark green blob laced with black with yellow eyes and red eyelids. It kind of reminds me of the creatures in Snow White when she's running through the forest all frightened.
It just stared, never blinked.
The first time I saw it above my head
The second time it was in my closet
The third time it was under my bed covers.
I wasn't scared of it, all it did was stare at me.
Eventually I was curious and so I told my mom and she said that it was the monster that came to make sure I was asleep. I knew that wasn't true, but I never saw the monster after that. -
Trevor: Trevor was a boy from a cardboard box. He first appeared when I was 7. He used to be my "boyfriend" that I would stare at for hours on end.
-
I started having an imaginary friend named Saphira, basically since the first time I read the Eragon books, was with me every day and occasionally still visits me, especially during these days stuck at home
-
This thing is one of them, but its the only one that has persisted over years
-
She wasn't a childhood monster, but "The Girl Who's Name always begins with A" was an imaginary friend of mine that I used to cope. She would always support me and be on my side, and even if I knew I was in the wrong, it made me feel a lot better to have the A-Girl cheer me up.
