I know I've listened to Just Like You, it was AWESOME!!! -
I've been a fan of his since the 6th grade and I just like am amazed by his music

I think it's cause he relates to us teenagers and his music makes sense

Yes, he does an amazing job making songs we can relate to. That's what makes them soooooo good

But at the same time people don't like his music because they say "it's too dark and violent" which then our terms of being too dark and violent are different

Yeah, his music is about as far from 'dark and violent' as you get. His songs just portray literal emotions, that we have, whether you like it or not.
