The lyrics and music are really good, I don't know if you worked on them yourself or not.
I can really hear the meaning behind the words in your voice, which in my opinion has a lot of impact on the song as a whole. I don't like it when someone is half-heartedly singing a song that's supposed to be louder (Cinna told me anger) or quieter (Cinna told me usually sad), but you definitely mastered making it sound right.
The hardest part of singing, I feel would be two things.
One, making your words match the beat and timing of the music.
Two, making sure your voice is the right pitch.
Those two reasons combined with the fact that I personally am too scared to even try is why I can't sing, but I think you're doing amazing -

I recently committed to trying to take music more seriously as a possible career path for myself
I joined several apps to locate other musicians to work with, and found a few that wanted to collaborate
swstar j beats, the one whose tag is at the beginning and end of the track, offered me a few melodies to use
I'm writing lyrics and recording the vocals for them, and he's mastering them
another artist I met through those apps is taking a similar approach, and I'll start working on those songs as soon as I've finished what Swstar has already sent me
I'm planning on putting out an actual EP

it's basically just a short album
it's definitely challenging, but I've always really enjoyed writing
I'll upload all of the tracks once they're done and in circulation
my partner doesn't really want me distributing it until I'm ready to sell
