I have a plot that I want to write a story for on Quotev, but I don't know if I want to do romance with it or not. It'll affect the age of the characters and when certain things in the story take place.
I'll post the plot I'm doing for it in a sec -
C1 was kidnapped or attacked by a gang or something (not sure which or both yet) and is found near death.
C1 is rushed to the hospital where she's treated by C2.
After that C2 unknowingly inspired C1 to become a doctor.
C1 did her absolute best to become a doctor, and became a doctor she did, top of the class, and everything.
C2 is impressed with C1's record, but of course doesn't show it. C2 is very arrogant, sadistic, and sarcastic, savage with his words to coworkers, doesn't really like anybody, it's nearly impossible to get C2 to open up and show his real feelings. Of course he doesn't act like that to his patients, besides the opening up part.
C1's name actually rings a bell for C2, but he just shrugs it off, and don't look into it.
C1 is constantly bending over backwards for C2, which actually, to an extent, annoys C2 endlessly.
One day a patient is rushed in. A girl that was in a very similar situation to C1. C1 and C2 are assigned to treat her. Outside of the patient's hospital room, C2 acts as if he could care less about if the patient lives or dies.
C1 is the opposite. Suddenly her entire life is centered on this girl getting better. C1 knows exactly what this patient is going through.
C2 cannot understand for the life of him why C1 is acting like this. So one day he confronts her about it -
May I ask why romance will affect the age of the characters?

Because it takes a long time to become a doctor. If she was first shipped off to the hospital when she was a teenager, C2 then would be in his 20s.

Well if you want romance then you’ll have to probably make C1 older
Idk if that’s a big deal or anything, it all depends on your preference for character age and if you want to change it or not
I think a love story would be good if you aged up C1 but that’s my preference. Do what you want -
Yeah, I was already planning on doing that if I was going to do a romance
But i don't know if I want to do a romance with this -

I feel like the story could go great either way, so just do what you want -

I think I'm just going to put them at the ages for a possible romance and then see where the story takes me
