I'm asking this only because I look up to y'all and would like to gain a bit of knowledge.
How do you become more mature?
I'm really immature, so I'm just asking this in hopes of changing to a more mature stance. <3 -
Not exactly a mod, but I can assure you this. Patience seems so straightforward but its harder to maintain than anything else in this world. Self compassion seems trivial but goes a long way in helping you accept your mistakes. You can then act and react in flux. With time and deep reflection, you will start feelin better about yourself and the world, even flaws and devastations. This is the start of the mature mind

Thank you <3

Well I'm no walking piece of wisdom and advice but I think..
Maturity takes time, a lot of time. When you're young your brain is still developing and you're going through all sorts of changes, so understand that if you act immature, it's not necessarily a bad thing, but rather it's just because you are young. Don't feel the rush to grow up and throw away childish fun when you seek out maturity or change. Embrace the fun parts of youth :)
W that being said, maturity comes in many forms and many people have different ideas of what that means to them. To me, maturity is understanding our flaws and accepting them. Maturity is knowing when to step back from an argument or not engage in one. Maturity is taking the time to try understand people, even if they may have views on life that you don't agree with, like religion for example. It's being open minded.
Maturity is also accepting when you're wrong, and allowing friends to tell you if you're wrong, even if you may not like the truth. And practising taking control of our emotions when we are faced w conflict. We can't always do that, but we can practice it. It's taking responsibility of our own actions, rather than pointing fingers at other people.
And honesty is always something great imo
And of course, maturity is also embracing our childish interests and qualities too :) -
Start by having little habits of maturity and in this case go first step back and look into how your actions are towards people. Thus, from there you’ll see where you go wrong and right. People still judge but if you keep persisting to move and grow into what you find as mature, then the world around you will seem different. Don’t let others tell you that you need to grow up because you are at this very moment. Be who you are with a twist of maturity and if I could give you an example, watch Promise Neverland season 1. I hope this summons up somehow to be a bit mature

Thank you, as well. I'll try my best to follow your advice.

One more advice:
Don’t do to much maturing because you at your age should have fun and live the life you want to live at that moment.
