Peter ran and slipped down a narrow space between a bush and the ground. He stumbled, blindly firing behind him. He quickly turned and ran, not seeing the wire until it was too late. He tripped over it, crashing to the ground with a loud thud. He grimaced as he tried to pick himself up.
-
I struck fast, I threw a Flash Bang. Nailed. I pointed at his head. If it weren't for googles, I coulda shot his head off.
-
Peter's eyes widened as he heard the click of a rifle focusing in on him. "No!!" he hollered, squirming into the underbrush, hoping they'd lost sight of him.
-
The fact was, I wasn't technically lying. I really did need to see Polkovnik Slybov, but I had orders to shoot him.
"I still need your pass, dear." repeated the soldier. I couldn't blame him for calling me dear. These soldiers hadn't seen women since the war began, over 6 years ago. Women soldiers were kept in different bunkers.
"Soldier, we are living under war code, I have secret information about the Ukraine's weapons that I must deliver to the Polkovnik, and you think I have time to dillydally?!" I shouted. Luckily, the soldier was too stressed to realize that Ukraine was destroyed in the first few months of the war. He let me through. -
I shot a branch. It wasn't a miss, I shot the tree and it fell on him, Crushing him, and trapping him agianst a small rock formation. I smirked. I crawled forward some more, into another trench.
-
Peter groaned as he felt the tree pin him to the ground. The blow had flug his rifle into the open, along with his backpack. He clenched his teeth and muttered a quiet prayer.
-
I heard approaching footsteps. They weren't our men. I ran and jumped into a ditch on the side of the lake. And I was RUNNIN.
-
"Lord, I be at the bloody mercy of thy knife..." Peter whispered in vain as the tree crushed him more. At last he spotted his men! "Mates! Over here, quickly, quickly!" They rushed over and had him out from under the tree in minutes.
-
Now, back to my mission. This would be my last mission in the Russian bunker. I would shoot the Polkovnik, and escape, if I was lucky enough. Even if I didn't, I had a bomb in my heart. Quite literally. After my training as a spy, I underwent an operation in which a bomb was installed in my heart. If I needed to activate it in case of capture, I needed to whisper "Nightlock" 3 times, and the bomb would explode in a matter of 30 seconds.
-
"VHY DO THESE-" I corrected myself. "Why do these... These useless Aussies have to take all the fame?" I moaned. I sighed and crouched.
-
Quietly stepping through the cold, metal bunker hallway. I peeked into the boiler room. I had placed a bomb in there to distract the soldiers so I would have more time to kill the man.
-
Peter got up and dusted himself off. A few cuts and slashes, maybe a broken rib, but nothing major. He picked up his pack and his rifle. "The enemy has infultrated our land. We must be on guard at all times," he explained harshly.
-
I marched across the road. I dove into an empty, Enemy tank. I placed a satchel charge and ran.
(I haz to go)
It blew up. That would DEFIANTLY get they're attention. -
