Ally sat on the couch staring out the window. In about an hour a black BMW would pull in and her mother would step out... It would all start up again. She couldn't help but wonder where James was.

I ran like a Nutjob. Faster than I ever had ran before. "I'M COMIN' ALLY!"

Tick tock, tick, tock, tick... The digital clock displayed 3:30pm... Her mother would be home in 40 minutes. Her stomach was doing flips. Just then she saw James appear in the front yard.

I slammed my fist against the door. "ALLYYYYY!"

Ally quickly opened the door. "Hey," she said, wrapping James in a tight hug.

"Are you alive?" I called.

"For now, yeah... But it's 30 minutes until she comes..."

"Oh, Gee Ally. Atleast my Da-" I didn't want to dim the situation, so I shut up.

(I haz to go in 3 1/2 minutes)

"No, it's okay. I want to be with you as much as possible before she comes..." she said, unsure if she would live after the rage her mother had to bottle in for one and a half years.

"I just can't believe it, Ally, That they let her come OUT." I muttered in disbelief.
I just finished the 3rd Maximum Ride book. I got my aunt and my Mom hooked on it. LOL -

"She's good at acting. I know she's not sane. She'll never be healed. She tricked them into believing she was better, so they let her go," Ally tried to hide the fear in her voice.

I nodded solemly. "Of course" I muttered. And passed out in fright. -
"James!" Ally caught him before he hit the ground and half carried him to the couch, laying him down gently.
