Ally let go of Jame's hand and sat back. "No, it's okay... Really."

"Just not.. My wristband." I uttered ever so quietly.

Ally glanced at the floor. "I understand," she replied at barely a whisper.

I barely dared to tell her why. "How?"

"I... It's..." Ally shut her eyes tightly. "I don't know... I just do." That wasn't all of it. None of it at all. She wanted to tell him, but no one else knew...

I frowed. "How?" I asked again. I Yanwed. "Allllyyy?"

"Well... you know how I never wear my hair up... And it's always covering my neck?" she grasped a fistfull of hair and lifted it to reveal rope marks and scars. "I... I've tried to kill myself. A lot. She encouraged it. After a while I realized... I was being stupid. But then she started threatening me... Playing her little dead and alive games. And now... this." She pointed to her neck.

"Wh-?" I asked. "I- I-... I cut myself." I pulled off both of my wristbands.

Ally hugged James and looked into his eyes. "I understand why. I don't know what made me jump to such severity so fast... I guess it might have been because I knew I was going to die eventually by her hand... and it was better if it was my own? God, I don't deserve life, do I? If I wanted to take it away from myself so badly... but somehow I'm still here? Some other innocent person could be enjoying this very life without all of the horrible things I've done... I don't deserve to be alive, do I..." Ally fought the tears, but one escaped, trickling down her cheek and into her lap.

"Awww..." "Ally. You are so awesome. If you weren't alive, I'd die!" I hugged and hugged her. I gave her a kiss and said "You are my best friend."
