I think I’m one major life event away from stopping my sober streak I am not mentally prepared as a 21, almost 22 year old and definitely not prepared to be a co parent to a sibling that’s basically 20 years younger than me

Today out of nowhere while I was at the gas station I had the urge of sitting down and inserting a dollar into the slot machine tell me why I won $100 dude I won $100 in that sitting I almost fainted I’ve never been interested in gambling before but something made me sit down and put a dollar into the machine did I know what the hell I was doing no I just pressed buttons and got free games and then I see that it says I won $100

I’m not gambling again because I can’t have that be my new addiction because that has a very very low recovery rate but man I’m so happy I have $152 in my bank acoount after I deposited it after the clerk handed me it

What’s crazy is that you’re only 20 but more successful than any 20 year old or even 30 year old I’ve met but they still expect you to be a child
