Ok so there was this episode of Star Trek once where people from the future fixed something from the past, so that future never would exist.
But until that moment that they fixed it, that future did exist.
So the way I see it, an infinite amount of futures exist before each action we make. And once we make those actions it directs us to a certain future.
But I mean, an alternate universe is the 5th dimension, if I remember right. -

Seriously I had to load for a second. But yeah, the whole thing that TV shows and movies can’t get their time travel right is annoying lol -
I haven't done much research into time travel, what do you mean?

Ok so the best example I can find is from the Terminator.
So spoilers, but the main guy who comes from the future, goes back in time because this man sent him back. The “man” is his superior, and his mom is this lady Sarah who saves humanity or something. But there’s a terminator who wants to kill her in the past so that she can’t do that. Anyways, the dude from the future falls in love with Sarah. They have a child, but the guy dies before the kid’s born. The kid ends up being the guy who originally told the dude to travel back in time.

How does that make sense? -
So the guy who falls in love with Sarah is actually his superior’s dad. But, he’s younger than his superior and it’s just so confusing

And since he dies in the past his son wouldn't be there in the future to tell him to go back in time and so his son would never exist in the first place.

I think Endgame and Interstellar got it pretty accurate tbh -
Black holes basically squish the things it sucks in, it looks like.
And the smallest type can actually hold a mass 3x larger than our sun into a space about the size or a large city. -
I've never watched either

Basically, I think research was done for both movies so that it wouldn’t be so confusing and would be accurate
