My friend had to delete me from his contacts because he's going on a 6 hr drive to Missouri for a few days and he's gonna get bored and would start texting me and then his sister would look over his shoulder and be like, 'Oooh, ______'s texting a girl,' and then his parents would look through the entire thing and be like, 'Why were you texting a girl at night?' (Like 9 pm,not that late) and they'd also see the part where he confessed to me and yeah it's just avoiding a ton of drama

Like he deleted his discord, his personal email, and all his contacts other than his family -
Like I said, he's confusing sometimes. Sometimes I just don't even question why he does things or the way he does it.

Is his parents strict? Cause legit whenever I text someone they got so mad. Even if its a friend.

Your friend probably doesn't want his parents to stop him from texting you. Strict parents usually stop their children from texting the opposite gender.
No clue why, but they do. -
