Yeah, I don't remember what day, so I'll aim to respond Saturday!
Writing this story has helped me a little bit w/my lack of a writing muse -
What's it about?
-
My character and a friend's character putting on an event in their town to save Christmas
-
Note to self:
-General grammar, tense, and punctuation check
-Build on their feelings about talking to the most important guy in town
-Add more about their struggles to spread word of the event; make that a bigger deal than just 2 sentences
-Make the skating event reveal more serious; make it feel like it belongs and wasn't thrown in there for no reason
-Maybe build on the scene of them going over the final plans w/big guy
-Double check the skating event scene, maybe add content
-Add more fluff and description to the end part -
How is Christmas in danger?

True, but these people aren't from Earth, so they don't 100% understand the Christmas tradition. They're imitating it from stories people have shared, I think

Yeah, I really wish I had focused on that part of the lore, but I waited until the last two days of the event to start writing. Maybe I can fix it up and write more in my free time
