Oh yeah, I gotta vent now, I’m keeping in something that just happened and my phone locks at 7pm (Strict Parents :/)
Uh, TW: Misgendering slightly and transphobia, talking about body parts that feel out of place))
So, I finally just figured out what my gender identity is (I identify as a Demi-girl) and I showed my sisters and dad my pride flag and what I identify as.
My younger sisters Immediately start saying, “You are a girl.” And “There is no such thing.”, which started making me self conscious.
But my dad pushed it over the edge by saying, “You have girl body parts, right? So you were born a girl.”
I suddenly feel like crying because I feel like I have big boobs and my hair is too long and I feel out of place. My stomach is in knots right now.
I know my family isn’t homophobic and (slightly) accepts me, but they don’t understand what it like to feel like I’m lying to myself and that I’m probably not a Demi-girl or bisexual and I’m just a straight girl, but I don’t FEEL like a girl! I want to kiss a girl, but I just never had feelings for...ANYONE! I don’t think I’ve ever had a REAL crush before!
Sorry about my stupid rant, I just want to feel like I belong in the right identity... -
