for a bit of context, Johnny Depp was recently arrested for claims of domestic abuse, coming from his s.o., Amber Heard. evidence proves that Amber was the one abusing Johnny, however Johnny didn't get any of the roles or jobs back that he lost from the claims.
for example, he lost his role in the upcoming fantastic beasts movie
this goes to show that female on male violence/violation is generally scoffed at, even for people who are big hollywood stars. he's played Captain Jack Sparrow since 2003, and he lost the role because of Amber. here's a petition to get him as jack sparrow again, there's one to get his fantastic beasts role back too, if you want to sign that -

I am hoping so too.
The thing that bothers me is, female-on-male abuse isnt talked about that often. And with this case, people dont want to think she did anything like that. Which irks me because female on male abuse happens more often than people think. -
it isn't, its talked about so little that it could happen to someone but they don't even know what's happening
