Hello! I have privately contacted Jayfeather310 and asked her if she was ok with me creating this thread.
I've been thinking about our team of moderators lately, and I realized there isn’t a mod that is a minor. This might be because of privacy concerns or something, but if I remember correctly, Faceless Knight was still a minor when they became a moderator.
I think we need a minor on the team. If there’s a minor, other minors might be more comfortable opening up about issues on the site with them, since they are easier to relate to and possibly talk to in general.
Jayfeather310 would be a wonderful candidate! She has been on the site for over four years, is very understanding and just, and takes her responsibilities seriously.
What do you guys think? Is my idea completely out of the question? -

I guess that there are a lot of mods, if there was ever a reason they would need more, then I think Jay would be a great choice.

if i was a minor at the time then it was only for a couple months. several mods started younger than me tho. jill for example has been a mod for years and years and im a month or two older than her

i became a mod when i was 14, jill when she was 13-14. not anything against jay tho

We don't really need more. If y'all want more mods, our userbase has to grow first. :p

also i checked and it looks like i was definitely 18+ when i became a mod

I think that if we need new mods, Jayfeather would be an awesome candidate! She's got all of the good mod qualities :D

i figured i should post something here. i apologize for waiting so long.
this surprised me a little bit, but this user's ideas make sense.
i wouldn’t mind becoming a moderator. i’m very active on the site and i do take my responsibilities seriously. i usually have a lot of free time as well.
if i'm ever needed, i would definitely be willing to help out.
i'm not really going to promote myself though because i'd rather the moderators discuss it themselves. the opinions of the users on GTQ as a whole are more important than my own in this context.
