If she's set a certain date weeks away, this could be a test. Theres a saying: you don't know who your true friends are until you get a fatal condition. This could be them seeing who will actually try to help and who will dismiss the matter, the latter of which they will know are not really her friends

I’m so scared, I’m the only one whose doing something about this, everyone else has given up and they’re trying to make me stop telling her to stop and I feel like throwing up because no one else is doing anything.
