WAIT since nacht wants to die, no way is tabata gonna let him rest lmao its gotta be yami especially since patri was supposed to die for the second time with the rest of the elves (excluding raia, fana, and vetto of course) and rest in peace but rades made him stay, nacht is just patri 2.0

now if yami doesn't die im gonna be mad plus nacht hates literally everyone in the world except for asta, and since asta just achieved perfect devil fusion, he's like a happy dad now and I don't want that to go away

yami is the black bulls captain- if he died if would cause a ton of repercussions, and would damage everyone, not just asta. killing off nacht would only hurt asta, probably even more since he was the only one nacht liked, and then asta would be aware that nobody but himself misses nacht (except for probably yami, who would probably blame himself since nacht and him are in the exact same situation rn, and if he lived and nacht didn't he'd be pissed), so that would be good for character development for asta

lets not forget about William vangeance though- him and yami just survived Qliphoth- and William didn't get a chance to heal from grey's transformation magic like yami...plus he handed off a sword to yami, just like how yami did to asta when we thought yami was dead meat- so does that mean William is next to be thought dead? and he's not on great terms with everyone right now since the licht-patri elf reincarnation war, so it could cause some conflict with both asta and yami, AND yuno
