It was on top, we had to put a toothpick through the candle to stick it in the cake >:) -

I often talk about American holidays to my friends and I always forget they’re non-American and they don’t see the appeal of Halloween or Thanksgiving LOL
So I’d get flustered when they’re like “wut” -
“Halloween celebrations are so strange to me. USA seems to be very excited for it and celebrates even weeks in advance, whereas here in Italy it's a normal day like any other.“
