I hate it when old author’s have the main characters in their books text.
Because this is what they thing vs what’s actually true:
14 year old texting according to author: “R U ready 2 come b4 midday?”
Vs
14 year old texting according to 14 year olds who text: “Hey are u ready to come before noon?” -
Like kids aren’t that strange. Who says b4 and honestly, idk anyone who uses ‘r’ either. ‘R’ isn’t even that bad, but they assume that all kids from the new generation take those shortcuts.
