the beauty of nature is the main reason i believe in god. Like, if we were created to be the closest living thing to him, he made it beautiful for us to appreciate it.

I believe in God cause there's so much needless suffering in the world. I think we were all made just to entertain a divine being with our pathetic existences. What other reason could god have for making us?

Oh no, i get that. But i think that's a product of free will. However i will agree, the biblical god is kinda a terrible person. I mean, who creates things just for them to worship him? And then if we worship and obey him in life, we get to become mindless puppets and worship him for all eternity.
Although, I don't believe in the biblical god. I believe god is the universe, everything. He is every person, every plant, every stone and even whatever the f--- the fabric of space is.
