I'm gonna add on to my comment—
I wa a never taught how to properly massage shampoo into my hair, is what I should have said. And it's probably what was causing my severe dandruff problems. 😓 That's why I was researching what I was doing wrong. Not everyone has good parents. -
If you brush it when it's dry, it makes your hair all frizzy. I would brush it while it was dry, and my hair would get all poofy. Then my mom told me to only brush it when it's wet, and my hair got considerably less poofy. One of my friends has curly hair too, and she brushes it when it's dry, and her hair is always poofy.
You cut it when it's dry, though. I just learned that recently.
As for your dandruff problem, use some dandruff shampoo. I have a dandruff problem too, and using it really helps. Only use it a couple times a week, though, because I think it's kinda bad for your hair, or something. I always feel the need to use regular shampoo after the dandruff stuff, because it makes my hair feel weird. -
I probably need a haircut, oof.

*You cut curly hair when it's dry.

My mom says that I should use a vent hair brush, since it's more for curly hair. I'm sure there's better options, though, since I think it's for thinner hair? I have thicker hair.
I honestly just use the first brush a grab, though, I don't pay attention. -
A vent hair brush? I've never heard of such a thing, but it sounds like something I can find on Amazon.

dont "nah fam" me, u know im right
i think a vent brush is a brush with vents in it so you can blow dry while brushing -
