I just don't want to remember my past. I wish I could start fresh, but every attempt hurts.

Why do I torment myself?
I just feel it so strongly and so suddenly. What makes me think that self-affliction will heal what hurts? People hurt me enough, so why am I doing this to myself?
But, why can't I stop? -

I really don't even know.
I thought I was, but now I just want to hurt myself.
I don't know what caused this. I felt okay, and it just came flooding back to me--these memories that I don't want.
I don't want to be here, now. -
It’s ok. we all feel that way sometimes and I know it sucks.. I struggle with it a lot too
Please don’t hurt yourself. I know it’s hard and I’m probably not the best person to talk to about this... but I can try to be here for you
I use to be heavy on that, it was like an addiction
and it wasn’t healthy. it only made everything worse and I don’t want that to happen to you -

Any time I try to let someone do something for me, I can never easily accept it because I feel like I'm being too much of a self-centered burden.
It's what my family has ingrained in my head. Whenever I ask for help, they act this way, and whenever I don't, they swear they're always here to help.
So, when somebody tries to help me, I attempt to give it to them, but then, I pull away.😭 -
And I don't want to look so dethatched, but, I just come off that way, don't I?
