Quick thing I wanna talk about. Ray and Misty, from Broken Gods.
Misty is a small shimmering silver dog formed to act as a guard for Sgrios. He has a form, which is more like a monster, maybe a werewolf. This form is referred to as Fog, and his fur loses its star like quality and instead blends easily with the shadows.
Ray is a small glowing cat, a short haired one with a long tail. He was formed to be a companion for Misty and also as a semi protector of Adolpha, ironically enough, because Ray is a feline, similar to Sgrios, and Misty is a canine, similar to Adolpha. Misty is known to guard/babysit Adolpha's pups, however.
Ray's fighting form is a large lion called Flare. The heat and light and energy of this form is incredibly powerful, and he becomes similar to a feline shaped sun.
Both Misty and Ray have wings. Misty is generally in touch with lunar things, whereas Ray is in touch with solar things. They're pretty much night and day. There may or may not be a "child" of the two, which harnesses the power of the stars.
This "child" would probably be a fox of some sort, shimmering and glowing. Misty can cause someone to sleep and can also heal. Ray, on the other hand, can reenergize his allies, giving them the rush of adrenaline that can be found in battle. He can increase his allies' strength as well.
