You know, I know I shouldn't be trying to spark RPs in the lounge, even if it is in my thread here. But it's what I'm used to. Hanging out in the lounge, messing around in here. I used to say I lived in the lounge, and it was true. Seven years ago, I didn't wander around online very much, didn't have a Telegram or a Discord, and I didn't hang out on phone applications. I sat in here, talking, laughing it up with friends, most of whom I definitely didn't know IRL. Yeah, I knew two, but the rest were strangers and I didn't mind. Hell, I even dated on here. You know how they say you never forget your first crush? Well, I had two first crushes. One IRL, and one online. I just want to go back to the old days. I know it's impossible, but I keep a few accounts dormant just to hop back in to threads that have been dead for YEARS, just to think about the old days. Just ignore me, I'm just voicing my thoughts. Wishing for a past that I left and wish I hadn't

You know, I think I loved the freedom I had here. I mean, I was kinda shy when I was younger, hesitant to try to make new friends. I was so darn awkward trying to date, too. Here, I could speak freely, without the fear of open judgmental looks or whispering. Everything was said aloud, whether it was in a "private" thread or one where people talked and glomped their friends.
