Well considering they happen everywhere I'd say you could, my family actually makes a point to dress up for mideval fairs the one where that happened was Muskogee

I don't know of any in Nebraska.

I'm pretty sure they happen somewhere in there, I just know some of the ones that happen in okie-homa and one that goes on in Arkansas.

Tatyananananananananananananananananananananana (etc.) - I misspelled my name this way. Now it's used mainly for getting my attention or if you're being silly.
Tater-tot - My favorite food is tater tots. And no one could help but notice, and it goes well with my name.
Trash Can - Given to me because I can eat a TON of food. So at hot lunch when they don't want the rest of their food, they give it to me. And my school has the best food for hot lunch, so I don't complain. -
Okay here's one of my interesting ones once when I was little my uncle was holding me like he was picking up a cat and I kicked him in the pp and ever since he's called me ballbuster

Chicken.
It somehow became a pretty well known thing in my community. Always Chicken vs Rock (my bestie). It was just a random day at the beach and we were quoting Moana and then somehow I ended up as Chicken. My bestie is Dwayne (the Rock!) Johnson. So yeah. -
my nickname in middle school was Siracha Sauce
