and then i went and sat on the leather couch and it was cold and i still feel cold from it -

Anyway, I've never heard of radiators being inside houses. Certainly cars, but not inside houses. I think you're thinking of your furnace. -

Radiators can be in houses. I think they're usually in old houses though, but you can definitely have a radiator in a newer house too. I had one in my dorm room in London
