He gasped quietly before retreating towards a nearby neat shrub of the park. Overtaken by his out of character giggling, the great demon lord of the ice realm disappeared into the bush for a few seconds. You could only assume that an animal has caught his attention—nothing else brings him pure joy like that— but you couldn’t help wondering which one? Which majestic creature of the wild could draw such a genuine reaction from the cold and closed off soul?
You heard Gundham’s magic phrase: “Good girl, good girl!” before he returned, arms and jacket clearly full. You still couldn’t make out what he was carrying. His face was beaming with absolute joy. “Y/N! Feast your eyes upon my newest champion!” Tanaka threw his deep scarf tail over his shoulder and adjusted his coat to reveal a very dark and fluffy cat. He smiled at the feline. “Isn’t she just stunning? I believe she’s a maine coon.”
You approached carefully and ran your fingers through the stray’s dark fur; it felt as though you touched a cloud. “She’s amazing.” You confirmed to the dark lord’s satisfaction.
“I did not even have to rely on bribery to allow her near me!” Gundham was filled to the brim with excitement. So much so, that he carried on to lecture you on feline care; you didn’t have a cat, though.
idk drafting ends are weird bc i just wanted to dump mr tanaka himself getting cutely excited over a special cat in the wild. i accomplished that and called it quits LMAOO -
and i have been okay!! clearly trying to write more and share it, and be more connected to the things that ground me and raise my vibrations!! :)
