me: no,,, let’s post about,,, *reaches in a jar and pulls out a slip of paper* my feelings on mayonnaise :) -
i think mayo goes great with a lot of foods i love. i also appreciate that in most other cultures, we all agree to put mayonnaise with our eggs LMAOO
while i’m used to eating it on a sandwich with my egg cooked as a frittata, adapting the style of whisking the mayo in with the egg before cooking it has been a new favorite from i think japan!! either japan or korea, i’m sorry for not knowing exactly, ill fact check soon!!! but i love that because it provides the same flavor i love, and it adds a softer and smoother texture to the egg you cooked!! :3 -
mayo is also the base for a few sauces i enjoy so, that’s cool too. also despite it being rather foul on its own, it’s really such a game changer on sandwiches and like salads. the range of mayo is crazy. i love seafood salad with mayo dressing. i love chicken salad. and y’all i’m sorry,,, but i love coleslaw. all made with that sweet/seasoned mayonnaise and it’s amazing!!! i prefer using miracle whip whenever i make a seafood salad because i think it’s smoother and provides a more “full taste” if that makes sense. and don’t get me started on mayo on my cheesesteak LMAOOO. that s--- gets me going.
all in all, i really do love mayo on most sandwiches and “sweet salads”. i give mayonnaise a solid 8/10. brings a lot to the table (wink) but is just god awful on its own so i can’t give it a perfect store -
i should mention, whenever i add mayo to my eggs, i don’t salt it. i only pepper and let the mayo do the rest of the seasoning because that’s how you accidentally get salty ass eggs LMAO

and, i think i was correct in saying japan had the mayo whisked in with the egg, however other cultures implored on it bc,,, delicious 😋
