honestly, the more depressing/chill kind. it always makes me feel so much better when i actually need it, i know i wouldn't be alive today if not for that type of music

Nice. I love Celtic music and jazz. They're both uplifting and can make you just love to be there at that moment. Celtic music more than jazz, in my opinion, though.
I've often gotten stares because I didn't know that I was humming to music at school when I had my earbuds in. -
