I have a sad feeling that I'm still washing my hair wrong. Or not washing, but just caring for it wrong?
I genuinely think my hair is naturally curly & if I were to get some products, I could bring it out better -
My hair's naturally curly. A few years ago, I wanted it straight so badly. I tried everything, even getting it chemically straightened, but it was still staying curly. Now I love my hair curly.

I tend to straighten mine bc when I get out of the shower, it gets so messy and ugly :(
probably because I don't dry it right -
When I dry it, I just wrap it in a towel for a few minutes, then take off the towel. Then I let it air dry the rest of the way.

Do you "scrunch" or rub the towel against your hair at all, or only wrap it up and then air dry? this might be the key to my failures..

Yeah, that's all I do. If my hair is dry and doesn't seem to want to be curly, then I get my hands wet and start scrunching my hair. But that hardly ever happens.

ok, I will try out your method!
What I had been doing was towel drying with the scrunch method, putting it up in a towel, and finishing w/air dry. but that makes it kinda messy and ugly lol -

Do you use any products to "enhance" your curls, or do you just use whatever shampoo/conditioner you have laying around?
btw, who is your favorite character from the mortal instruments? -
I just use whatever's there, but I do notice that my hair's more curly with the curly shampoo.
