I'm a semi-fast reader, it took me roughly 24 hours total for the first book and maybe 48 hours for the second one? On the online site, it's 50-something pages for the first book and 60-something for the second. -

they're very solid
I first read Cassandra Clare's The Mortal Instruments, but those read as a fanfiction that was all over the place in terms of plot. When I was younger I loved it, but now that I'm re-reading the series, it's hard to keep focus. But with this series, it's so much better. The pace is really nice, the characters are VERY well written- the romance stuff in the 2nd book might disinterest some, but what I like about it the most is that she doesn't make that the WHOLE book. We still get an action packed plot that makes you go "well what happens next!?" without being too focused on love interests and stuff -

the only turn off from reading them from this site is that the first book was well.. uhh.. i don't want to say translated? copied, i guess? but the second one has a few errors in spelling, and anytime "will" comes up, ALL words with "will" have a space. like will ing. will iam. etc. I autocorrect, so it doesn't bother me much, but.. a physical book is always going to be way better lol -
physical books are way better than digital but also pricey
