trish has taken to ear biting when she deems i am not paying enough attention to her. i will be laying in bed petting her, decide i'm done and roll over on my side. she does not like this. she approaches me from behind and bites my ear then runs

she tried to do it again just now, except she got a mouthful of the hair covering my ear. she got PISSED, gagged, hissed and then ran

cw/ animal ab*se (pls don't read if you're sensitive, i just need to say something)
so my brother-in-law's cousin and his wife have three cats. one of them is older and a strictly indoor cat, and they just adopted two young kittens that have not been spayed or neutered yet. they're old enough to have that procedure done, but it just hasn't been.
the male kitten has been spraying while the female kitten has been yowling some. when me and my brother-in-law visited, both kittens were outside in the pouring rain and it was freezing out, both scratching and meowing to be let back inside.
they wouldn't let them in. even when they tried to get in, they got sprayed with water guns and KICKED. kicked!!!
they said they'd build an outdoor house for them until they get spayed, but they don't know when they want to do that, but they're also "waiting until a nice warm day to build the outside house"
you're kidding, right??? you know that 1.) getting a cat fixed is the responsibility of the cat 2.) cats will be cats, and you KNEW that they do these things when it's time for them to be fixed, and you took that risk by adopting them 3.) if you were out in the pouring rain with no shelter and nobody was in a hurry to really help you, would you feel good?
god, it really got my blood boiling and it made my brother-in-law upset too. we left immediately. i hope the cats either get spayed and let back in or even better, rehomed. f--- -
