From this job, I have a few. Not to bad though.
I think one of the ones that sticks with me though was this middle aged woman (early fifties), wanted me to check her out. At this time my light is off, and I'm cashing my check. So, as she puts her stuff on my conveyor belt, I ring up her stuff. Place it in bags and stuff lile that. She is paying with a card, so I hit the button I'm supposed to and turn around, asking the other cashier if the check had went through. Cashier says yes, I turn back around and ask the customer if she wants her receipt. She huffs at me, says yes and grabs her things.
I shrug it off and think nothing else of it until I turn around and she is standing right next to my other cashier, saying that I should put my customers first. That my money wasn't important (etc.)
During the whole transaction, my attention was on her, with the exception of when I turned around. I kind of got mad, and stormed off because she said some other rude things that I don't want to think about. I went to the bathroom and cried.
Then about a week later she apologized (which rarely happens). -
