Are you even allowed to advertise on GTQ? -
I looked everywhere, and the only thing I saw about advertising said nothing about the Forums.

You know, I think I saw an advertiser come on once before. I've always wondered what they think when they see this website. They're probably like, "What in the world is this place?"

But we got a van!

My thread got all the way to the third page.

Today was no ordinary quarantine day.

We got up early, because we were going to, hopefully, buy a van that day.
The first one we looked at was good, but we'd be putting $1,000 into it to fix it up.
The second one we looked at was pretty much the same.
The third one really needed a wheel bearing, maybe two, and there was a major oil leak. The transmission was going to need a bunch of work too.
The fourth one was the one we got. It doesn't need a ton of repairs. It's a silver Chrysler van. I have to get used to automatic doors now. -
Then at 3:30, my dad asked me if I wanted to go over to my friend's house, because they needed help fixing their basketball hoop. So I came along. It was her birthday, anyway.
So, I get there, and another one of my friends is there dropping off a gift for her. Then us three hang out, then another one of my friends comes over with a present. Later, a third friend comes.
So it's the five of us, and we watch movies, and played card games, we stay for supper, have cake and ice cream, she opened the two presents, we had a blast. Then we all had to leave at about 10 or 10:30.
So we gave her a surprise birthday party. It wasn't even planned. -
But yeah, today was great.

And her parents said that they asked her how her birthday was going, and told us that she said it was like any other day. She's been really down lately, so I'm glad it cheered her up.
