We seem to have a lot of causes. Let's be content with our lot, and just be a good group of friends.

That is a good enough cause for me. We shall valiantly fend off our oppressors, be it here in this digital world or in the physical one, and remain as diligent as possible!
For inside our seemingly humans forms, we are immortals! Divergent Immortals, in fact. We can fend off anything life throws at us.
(And now, after concluding a short speech, I will now admire a cat plushie.) -

Does spoiling a stray cat in my neighborhood I named Hatter (after Alice in Wonderland) count?

I used to have a mutt (not even the vet ould figure out what she was), then we had to put her down, and we got a miniature chocolate poodle. Neither of them play, or played as may be, with toys.

Sure! I do the same with a tortoiseshell cat and a little tabby kitten, both female.
The little kitten's name is apparently "One Day", although I started to call her "Bean". -
The tortoiseshell cat has a sort of nonsense name, but the first part translates to "Spirit", in the language in which these cats were named.

Mutts are some of the best dogs, in my opinion.

Actually, the poodle was named Sparkles. I was in second grade, don't judge.

The mutt was named Sandy, because she looked uncannily like Sandy from Annie.

But don't give me a fish, because it will ba dead in 3 weeks. I had four of them at different times.
