After emergency cleaning? We have the house ready for guests on Confirmation, and we have a nice clean house. We've been putting this off for ages.

I think basically you become viewed as an adult in the Church. You get to start taking communion. Guys get start ushering, and things like that.

Communion is where you receive the body and blood of Christ in with and under the blood and wine, and are assured that you are forgiven through grace alone and what Jesus did for you.
Ushering is basically lighting the candles, telling people they can go up for communion, giving people bulletins, things like that.
