I honestly never thought of myself working at a doughnut shop before. But I got applications from two shops. And it seems like Mexican places want me. But I'm just basing that off of the two that I visited.

The Mexican place I went to today didn't even give me an application, just said that I'd have to talk to the owner.

But I turned in the application to Amigos
I got an application from Krispy Kreme and Winchell's
I get to talk to the owner of that Mexican restaurant on Firday (don't know if you'd call it an interview or not. they didn't even give me an application)
So thid is going better than expected, when I heard that it's hard for 14 year olds to get hired. -
i’m surprised you have so many options. there are only two places that even consider hiring 14/15-year-olds where i live. if you’re under the age of 18, you’re either working in fast food or at kroger.

I haven't even checked all the stores that are right by our neighborhood.
Yeah Bakers (Kroger) does 15, and the manager said that he'd really want me if I was older.
Most of the places around here hire at either 16 or 18. -
I wonder what's going to happen on Friday. My mom told me to look like I'd be able to jump right into work.
But I'm not 14 yet, so I wouldn't be able to jump right in.
Still would probably be good, though. -

We got the oven installed and I just put the pizza in it. I'm not used to that little screen on the top. I'm used to all knobs.

What does that flashing mean for the timer? Does that mean it's working, or that you need to start it?

I just helped my dad haul the old oven out of the house. That thing's way heavier than our new one. Part of that is because it's from the 60s.
