as much as I think that that type of content isn't exactly healthy for the community I think that it shows that. Learn to grow a pair if you're discriminated it against verbally or over the Internet, just get over it its all fake unless if somebody physically hurts you, it described the time whenever youtube itself was not completely against the first amendment right from the Constitution, we know today they weren't so big on censorship, and they most certainly were more open, then youtube rose up along with all the rest of the people who became what we know of now as social justice warriors, and started changing youtube itself became an absolute s---hole. Going back on that theory on demonetization, that really is not a fury, if you look at it, it's been a common way of youtube slickly notifying channels. And almost all internet corporations, o media sharing platforms have adopted this or a similar method of change. While most people in the youtube community still bash DEA issues with feminism and the immaturity that we know as social justice warriors, little do we realize that youtube itself is leaning towards the community's general target has even been attacked at times. But of course, youtube is not going to simply fade away because it remains relevant to the rest of the community, just because a combined 10 parts of the entire youtube community bands together and attacks youtube, doesn't mean everybody on youtube's gonna see it. A lot of other people just look at youtube for cat videos or cooking therefore, youtube doesn't really care if they're attacked, because they're still gonna remains lucrative. In order for somebody to make such a big impact on you tube, they would have to make their video appeal to the entire audience on youtube, create a new audience step, almost everybody on youtube See's. And even not would leave a huge kick on youtube but still would have a whole lot of thriving viewers therefore, they would still be relevant, what else would need to be done is a smaller media platform would need to rise and compete with youtube, but we know the last time that happened it dwindled into a cesspool of nothing (Vimeo). I think if leafy was to be reborn it would be seen as a channel that goes against youtube and obviously they would try and take it down in ways similar to what they've done in the past but it would show that leafy would end up being one of youtube's biggest problems, but of course, youtube doesn't want to be seen as a control freak. They don't want to be seen as somebody who uses censorship as a weapon, considering that so many people are against it, if everybody knew that they wanted to, then chances are it might leave some sort of impact, people want to say that the reason why demonetization exists is because of how a lot of advertisers are not interested in advertising on it extreme videos. That could be debunked there are plenty of advertisers who literally run off of satirical propaganda and they'd love to throw their self into the path of an audience that falls into that same category. But do you think he you tube wants to accept them as one. I don't think so. While people grew whenever leafy left youtube. One thing I noticed was that I hate the fact that it pushed me out, not because I was once a fan of his but because youtube is terrible now they think they are evolving, but they're doing it terribly, and their evolving into something terrible they already have. They're just a Cancer feeding off of the cells which are us. Their biggest threat would be the threat of us leaving of the entire community leaving. But they don't see the likelihood of it. And did they figure that if they make their content more family friendly, it'll gather an even wider audience. Until they see the result of their change being a disaster they will keep on going down this path that they have. In their logic " as long as it gets us a bigger audience or it doesn't threaten our current one, we don't care and considering people always change. We won't ever lose people"
I would like to say that leafy lead, the greatest Cult I have ever seen and I use the term Cult very loosely as a lack for better terms. But what leafy accomplished was a loyal fan base that did not leave his side in, which would follow whatever he said, and whatever he did religiously, that is why I used the term cult. I was once part of it and to this day, I still don't see the results of his actions as deserving I may not completely be on his side, but I do know that I'm not on the opposition because the opposition is youtube itself, and I know that youtube is a s--- hole and is extremely self entitled whenever it comes to their company. They want you to think that they're trying to be family friendly but they really only care about their image, they don't want to be painted in the way that leafy was.
