When posing for photos ( both regular and in the case of a same fandom meet up)
Should I try and replicate the pose of the character?
Because for most pictures I did in my most recent cosplay ( komaeda from dr2) I just gave an awkward peace sign?
I occasionally immiated his sprite pose but it was awkward and not obvious?
So should I practice on copying a character’s poses, or just work on making myself look more confident in the photo?
It’s not strictly about cosplaying as the mentioned character, as I have the intention of cosplaying as a few different characters
TL;DR : when posing for cosplay pictures, do I pose in character, or just as my self? -

I’ll probably do that, maybe ask the person I’m taking it with if they want to do anything specific?
Like a komahina pose? Pretending to shove me into the trash? Murder and victim style , among other things
